Where can GARTECH Hydraulic Motors be used?
Due to the scalability of the design there are numerous solutions with regard to speed of operation, and flow requirements.
- Heavy Industry, where high torque and slow speed are required, e.g. roll mills or presses.
- Off- Road Vehicle Power Transmission.
- Wind Farms - utilizing the turbine motion to drive a pump. The generated flow and pressure can be then used remotely for ancillary services - motors or pumps.
- Tidal Farms - utilizing the turbine motion to drive the pump.

The GARTECH design is highly scalable, from a relatively low power (kW / hp) requirement delivering torque output at a low speed to exceptional large design (MW / hp) bespoke applications. GARTECH have a solution to suit all cases.
GARTECH motor / pump design; Powerful, Compact and Universal in its application.
In MOTOR configuration
Hydraulic flow and pressure is applied to the motor, which results in high torque output and rotation
In PUMP configuration
Providing a rotational input, results in flow output from the pump. Providing a restriction (choke), in the output flow creates a flow resistance which is used to generate pressure.
The pump can be configured to give the required amount of flow and pressure.
